Let it snow!

We have a few family members who don't celebrate Christmas so they get some kind of  "season's greetings" type card.  This year the front says "Let it snow" and the inside says "sending happy thoughts".

I love the way this card turned out! By the way, I am making the Christmas cards 5 x 7 this year.

Christmas is coming!

Just a quick post to show a new Christmas card I made.  I got this idea from www.Stampwithtami.com
This was fairly quick and easy so I made several since I will need about 25 handmade cards this year. 

One more post before Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving will be here before we know it so I just wanted to post one more Thanksgiving card.  This is a card I made for some family members who hosted a huge family Thanksgiving meal at their house last year.

The background paper is the same one that I used in my turkey card.  I guess you can tell that I like it.

PFC Birthday Boy

After seeing this post on Operation Write Home's Facebook wall: 
"One of my contacts is celebrating his 20th birthday in Afghanistan in December...send him a special card (to the Washington shipping address only) by Nov 30 to be included in the celebration! Address it to PFC Birthday Boy :)"

I knew I had to send this young man a birthday card.  Making cards for men has always been kind of hard for me but his is what I came up with:

Not really sure what to write on the inside, that part is hard too, but I know I will write that I am praying for him to come home safely and thank him for his service to our country!
